Sandra Schider

founder・breathwork facilitator・ceremonialist

Sandra is a fiercely compassionate, embodied and vibrant healing practitioner who finds joy and curiosity in holding wild space for people to reclaim their inner voice, meet their shadows, and find themselves in the deep truth of their hearts. She creates and leads transformational and powerful experiences for people that help remember their innate belonging, wildness and wholeness. She has lived experience of recovery from deep trauma and a wounded psyche and has undergone many years of inner work, which she sees as fundamental to her own self care but also to those she serves.

In the past two decades she has specialized in a variety of different branches of Breathwork, Yoga, shamanic practices, and other spiritual traditions. She has found a home in the holistic and ritualistic practices of ancient mystery schools. Sandra is passionate about the revival of ritual and works with communities to co-create ceremonies around the world, helping people to mark significant moments, move through challenges, and celebrate life. Her work combines Breathwork, plant medicines, somatic practices, ritual, voice work (inspired by her background in the ancient art of ritual theatre and music), creating safe space and playful environments where humans can authentically connect and release.

She is qualified as a Neurodynamic™ breathwork facilitator for one-on-one sessions, groups, release-work and integration, a training in a direct lineage of Stanislav Grof, the father of modern Breathwork.

Sandra is a certified Yoga teacher, specialized in restorative-and integrative Yoga rituals, as well as animal-asanas, which she combines with yogic philosophy, storytelling and the breath.

Read here an introduction to breathwork, and here her personal breathwork story.

Sandra is highly sensitive to the environment around her and has found solace and wisdom from Breath, Movement, Animal, Plant, and plant medicine, provided by Mother nature and the body. Inspired by spending time in the Rainforest in Brazil she became a Cacao Guardian and ceremonialist, once back in Europe, holding a deep love of the Cacao medicine. Read here about the heart-opening Cacao!

She is an initiated Hapéh ceremonialist. Read here about Hapéh medicine.

Deeply present and available through her years of practice, Sandra focuses on cultural and systemic change through personal and collective healing, centered in our relationship with the earth and the cosmos.

In addition to her passion for facilitating expanded states of consciousness, her greatest love has always been animals. She has a very strong connection to animal medicine. Animals have accompanied her throughout her whole life as loving friends and wise teachers, in physical form and in spirit. On a practical level, she also works as an animal activist and founded an exceptional dog shelter on the island of Leros in Greece.

“The Freedom Tribe” embodies her soul work.

Sandra lives and breathes what she teaches, she shares from her inner well of lived experiences. She is partly made of Water, but mostly made of Fire.

Andrew Casselton

relational psychotherapist . breathwork facilitator . mindfulness teacher

Andrew is a wholehearted, rock solid, natural space holder for groups, where trust, safety and trauma informed approaches are paramount. Compassionate, tender, deeply present, playful and fun, he has found his life’s mission in supporting people who have lost a sense of themselves, their purpose and their way in the world. Andrew is a qualified Neurodynamic Breathworker, Mindfulnesss teacher, UKCP Relational Integrative Psychotherapist in advanced training and is also training in Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry approach to healing trauma. Andrew’s integration of these approaches means that he is able to support and facilitate each client on their journey with skill, sensitivity and deep connection.

Andrew’s own journey to becoming his authentic self is ongoing and began thirty years ago. After decades of addiction to alcohol and painkillers, Andrew experienced a Spiritual Emergency (labelled as breakdown by his medical GP), which led him to experience the healing power of awareness of mindfulness. Andrew went on to integrate mindfulness by training as a mindfulness teacher and seeking refuge with a Buddhist lama at the Tibetan Monastery, Samye Ling in Scotland. Andrew continues to practice an embodied, somatic form of meditation. Along with relational psychotherapy, Andrew then discovered breathwork and by trusting in the deeply intuitive healing that breathwork provides – Andrew felt a significant transformation, releasing fear and stepping into his wholehearted true self.

Andrew is motivated by his own healing, which has shown him that humanity has become disembodied, a victim of the rapid evolution of our left (cognitive) brain. He believes we can rediscover who we are through relearning our ability to feel our environment, our self and each other through our breath and through our body. Western society tells us that we need look out for ourselves, to live in fear, and to accumulate material possessions. Neuroscience shows that we are social creatures who need connection and love through our shared nervous system. By working in increased awareness of our sensations, by working through our early trauma, by sensing into our innate wisdom, we can once again find joy and peace in who we are. Andrew is clear that this needs to happen ‘in relationship’ in order that we truly heal.

Andrew runs his heart led practice from his home on the beautiful coastline of East Yorkshire, England. He finds pleasure in year-round sea swimming, climbing mountains in the Highlands of Scotland, 5 rhythms dancing or just hanging out with close friends. He also loves retro cinemas and good home cooked food.
