The Well Project

Clean Water for the Noke Koi

We live on a water planet.
Roughly 71% of the Earth's surface is covered by oceans, rivers, lakes, and ice. And deep below the Earth’s surface, scientists are now discovering vast, hidden reserves of water—an underground ocean of sorts.

Yet, despite this abundance, less than 1% of the world’s water is fresh and readily available for us to drink. And not all communities, especially those in remote parts of the world, have access to this vital resource.

One such community is the Noke Koi, an Indigenous tribe living deep in the Amazon rainforest of Acre, Brazil.

Why We’re Raising Funds

The Noke Koi must currently carry water from the river to their homes, often at great effort. And because this water is not clean, it must be boiled to prevent illness.

A well would transform their lives: clean, drinkable water close to home — something many of us take for granted.

The cost to build this well is modest by many standards:
$3,000 USD.

We are committed to raising this amount on their behalf.
This is where The Well Project begins.

A Relationship Rooted in Reciprocity

The Freedom Tribe has received incredible healing and wisdom from the Noke Koi people. Their way of life remains deeply connected with the Earth, and they share their ancestral knowledge generously.

One of their sacred offerings is Rapéh (Hapéh) — a powerful plant medicine prepared in ceremony by the Pajé, or medicine men.
We are deeply honored to work with Romeya Pajé Kamarati, one of the Noke Koi's respected Pajés, who prepares the Rapéh we use during our retreats, ceremonies and rituals. For generations, this medicine was only used by Pajés, and it carries the spiritual essence and healing of the forest.

Meet the Bridge: Maithê

In this picture you see a photo of Maithê, our contact woman and translator. She lives with the Noke Koi, apprentices with Pajé Kamarati, and helps bridge our worlds. She ensures that communication and funds are delivered with care, clarity, and respect.

Make an impact today

This is a call to reciprocate.
To support the people who carry and protect ancient Earth wisdom.
To give back to those who continue to give so much.

Every contribution counts.
Together, we can raise the $3,000 needed to fund the well and ensure fresh water flows into the daily lives of the Noke Koi.

Thank you to all who have already given and become part of the source of water. Together, we will make this happen!
